Cut Pile Plush

Cut pile plush carpets have a very soft, luxurious look & feel. A cut pile carpet is made by cutting the tops of the loops so the pile stands straight upwards. Although plush pile carpets can show temporary shading from footprints & vacuuming, this is a nomal characteristic & has no effect on performance.

Cut Pile Twist

Cut pile twist carpets are made with a twisted yarn causing the pile to lay in different directions. Twist pile carpets are generally more hard wearing than a plush pile & have a more textured finish, which is less likely to show tracking.

Loop Pile

Loop pile carpets are hard wearing, durable and do not have a tendancy to show tracking as often as other carpet types. The loops are made by the yarn being threaded through the backing, then sewn back through.

Sisal

A popular & classic style of carpet, Sisal is a loop pile made with loops in straight rows. Sisals can be textured or the height of the loops can be varied to create different patterns.
