Although we offer an expert installation service, we have created an easy to follow Do-It-Yourself guide. STEP 1.
Measure and mark halfway across each wall. Mark a chalk line between halfway marks on opposite walls. Place first carpet tile in corner of chalk lines. (as shown in red) STEP 2.Continue by placing tiles firmly against each other (but not too tight) in an outward direction leavig a gap between the last tiles and wall. Ideally this gap should be close to a full tile OR less than one half of a tile or to minimise waste. If the gap is larger than one half of a tile, start by placing the first tile in the centre of the two chalk lines. STEP 3.
Working outwards towards the wall, place 'TILE 3' firmly against wall on top of 'TILE 2' Using 'TILE 3' as a straght-edge, cut through 'TILE 2' STEP 4.
Place 'TILE 3' in the position where 'TILE 2' was. Place cut piece of 'TILE 2' between 'TILE 3' and wall, with the cut edge against wall. Unused piece of 'TILE 2' can be used on opposite wall, minimizing waste. Continue around walls until completed.
